Sport is central to life at Stamford Junior School, encouraging a lifelong love of being active. We focus on inclusion, so every child benefits, whatever their ability, learning to enjoy challenge, grow from success and failure, and take pride in representing their school. They develop teamwork, independence, and understand the value of staying active for life. With a Growth Mindset approach, we focus on learning through play, questions, and reflection, whether in matches, lessons, or free play, pupils become confident, active, and resilient.
