At Stamford, we believe in giving children every opportunity to try new things, discover new passions and develop new hobbies. This helps them unlock their talents and find what they truly enjoy.
Our wide co-curricular programme gives pupils the chance to explore new interests and build valuable skills. From fencing to chess, Russian to archery, there is something for everyone. We also offer a termly programme of paid lessons in music, speech and drama, dance and some sports.
We support pupils in making choices that balance enrichment with time to relax and enjoy friendships.
There is a wide range of clubs on offer, from Lego and Construction Club to creative options like Textiles Club and Mindful Colour. For those who enjoy problem-solving, there are Coding and STEM clubs, along with Outdoor Adventurers and many others. Sport plays a big role too, with activities such as gymnastics, water polo and chess, alongside seasonal sports like rugby, hockey, netball and cricket.
From breakfast to tea with the boarders and after-school clubs, we can provide supervised care for your child from 7:30am until 6pm every day of the school week.
If early morning training or away fixtures prove tricky for family logistics, we also offer flexi-boarding allowing students to stay for the odd night or even 1,2 or 3 nights a week
After-school care is an important part of the day for many families, and we offer a range of options to support this.
Children from Reception upwards can enjoy crafts, outdoor play and time to relax after a busy school day in our Hub. It’s a warm, welcoming space with a cosy corner, sofa and TV, where pupils are cared for by our staff until 6pm.
As your child moves through their Stamford journey, they’ll find even more ways to explore existing interests and discover new ones in our Senior School.
From the popular Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and our thriving Combined Cadet Force to clubs such as chess, pottery, dance and Chinese, there’s something to suit every interest.
