Academic and Specialist Spaces
Our teaching buildings include large presentation spaces, flexible classrooms and dedicated specialist rooms. Two well equipped auditoria provide polished environments for talks and performances, while our classrooms support workshops, seminars and breakout sessions. The TED theatre and science observatory offer distinctive specialist spaces and our IT and food technology rooms make it possible to run a wide range of practical courses.

Our three boarding houses provide comfortable accommodation for residential programmes.
Residential Houses
Stamford has three boarding houses that open during holiday periods for residential courses and visiting groups. Each house offers a calm, comfortable and well managed setting, well suited to music programmes, academic courses, international students and youth activity camps. While the houses differ in character, all maintain the same high standards of care, cleanliness and organisation.
Accommodation
Rooms include a mix of single and shared options, allowing groups to choose what best fits their programme. Shared rooms are bright and practical, encouraging a strong sense of community among visiting pupils. Single rooms provide privacy and quiet space, particularly valued by older students and staff attending longer residentials.
Social and Study Spaces
Every house includes welcoming communal areas for relaxing between sessions. Common rooms typically offer soft seating, games, television areas and spaces for informal study or group meetings. Kitchenettes or snack stations are available, enabling guests to prepare drinks and light refreshments throughout the day.
Catering
Meals are prepared by the Stamford catering team and served in dedicated dining areas. Menus can be tailored to each client, with careful attention to dietary requirements, cultural needs and the energy demands of sporting or performance based courses. The team has extensive experience supporting large residential programmes and works closely with course leaders to ensure meals are nutritious, varied and enjoyable.
Facilities and Pastoral Care
Bathrooms are located throughout each house and maintained to a high standard. Laundry facilities, secure entry systems and clear supervision arrangements are in place. Strong WiFi coverage, study areas and a supportive residential environment allow groups to focus fully on their programme while feeling safe, comfortable and well cared for.

Sports and Performance Facilities
Our sports estate is one of the most comprehensive in the region. It includes two large sports centres, two indoor swimming pools, astroturf pitches, cricket squares, nets, indoor and outdoor courts and expansive playing fields. These spaces are regularly used by visiting clubs and youth development programmes and are supported by staff who understand the requirements of high level sport.
Hospitality and Event Venues
From the historic Chapel to our modern hospitality suite, Stamford offers an inspiring choice of event spaces. Elegant reception rooms and landscaped gardens create atmospheric settings for private celebrations, while our summer marquee provides the scale needed for large receptions and corporate showcase events. Catering is delivered by our in house team who bring precision, flexibility and presentation to every occasion.
