Book for our Discovery Mornings

Discovery Mornings are a chance to explore the Schools on a normal working day.

You and your family will tour the School in the company of one of our pupils and will meet the Principal and senior team over tea and coffee.

Junior School (Reception – Year 6):
Wednesday 15 May 8.45am – 10am

Senior School (Year 7 – Year 11):
Wednesday 15 May 10am – 11.30am

Spaces at a Discovery Morning are limited so that you can have as much time as you need to see the School at your own pace and discuss your child as an individual.

Co-curricular

On this page

"Co-curricular activities build inclusivity, community and teamwork. We believe that our co-curricular offering is an essential part of your child’s schooling with us."

Geoffrey Brown
Head of Co-Curricular

From sporting opportunities such as sailing, rugby or hockey, to the performing arts, there is something for everyone.
Taking Part

Being involved in our co-curricular programme helps our young people support and respect each other, their peers and wider community around them.

It gives them the ability to try new things, and unlock their team spirit. Regarded as an essential part of their schooling, our co-curricular activities help students to develop important life skills such as leadership, confidence and teamwork.

Stamfordian spirit and service are very much part of our culture at Stamford.
Educational Trips

Offering a wide co-curricular programme gives our pupils a better chance of finding activities they love and enables them to develop new skills.

Educational trips and expeditions are also available to places such as Costa Rica, Russia, Iceland, South Africa, Australia, and India.

New Experiences

Part of our core aim is to offer students new experiences, challenges and opportunities.

We place great value in these activities, because we know they help create our rounded and ground young people.

Our broad and varied programme of activities also gives students a chance to experience life beyond the classroom, giving them better chance of finding activities they love and developing new skills.

Clubs and activities include multiple sports, drama, music, debating, pottery, psychology, languages, Duke of Edinburgh, CCF, house competitions, charity events and much more.

"Our co-curricular offering really is the jewel in our crown"
