Music Scholar
Music Scholars in Years 9 to 11 are encouraged to immerse themselves in Stamford’s musical life, joining ensembles such as the orchestra, jazz band, percussion group or chamber ensembles, with singers contributing to the Chapel Choir.
Scholars enjoy a range of performance opportunities, including the Scholars’ Recital, annual Music Festival and, where appropriate, solo performances in end-of-term concerts.
Each student is mentored by the Head of Scholars, who supports their progress and helps set individual learning goals. Music Scholars study Music at GCSE, bringing together their academic learning and practical musicianship.
