Being involved in our co-curricular programme helps our young people support and respect each other, their peers and wider community around them.
It gives them the ability to try new things, and unlock their team spirit. Regarded as an essential part of their schooling, our co-curricular activities help students to develop important life skills such as leadership, confidence and teamwork.
From sporting opportunities such as sailing, rugby or hockey, to the performing arts, there is something for everyone.
Offering a wide co-curricular programme gives our pupils a better chance of finding activities they love and enables them to develop new skills.
Educational trips and expeditions are also available to places such as Costa Rica, Russia, Iceland, South Africa, Australia, and India.
We give students new experiences, challenges and opportunities that help them grow into rounded, grounded young people ready for life beyond school.
Our broad co-curricular programme encourages students to explore new interests, develop skills and pursue their passions.
Clubs and activities include sport, drama, music, debating, pottery, psychology, languages, the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, CCF, house competitions, charity events and more.
Our Combined Cadet Force (CCF) is one of the largest voluntary contingents in the UK.
DofE offers students further opportunities to be challenged beyond the classroom.

There is plenty of opportunity to learn, develop and perform music at all levels.
From performances and showcases to stagecraft and LAMDA courses, our superb Drama provision is widely admired.
