Year 8 'cook up' a menu fit for a king
Year 8 History students at Stamford High School have been creating menus that would be fit for a dinner party where King Henry VIII and Gordon Ramsey would be the guests of honor. All of their menus had to be made from ingredients that were available during the Tudor reign and they researched each menu themselves. Popular recipes included ingredients such as peacock and swan.
Miss G Spark, Teacher at Stamford, commented on what a good time the students had presenting their menus on Microsoft Teams: "We had a great time on Teams and it really brought the 'Christmas spirit’ amongst this craziness!"To read more news from the Stamford Community, please click
