Discovery Mornings are a chance to explore the School on a normal working day.

You and your family will tour the School in the company of one of our pupils and will meet the senior team over tea and coffee.

Spaces at a Discovery Morning are limited so that you can have as much time as you need to see the School at your own pace and discuss your child as an individual.

    Year 8 'cook up' a menu fit for a king

    Year 8 History students at Stamford High School have been creating menus that would be fit for a dinner party where King Henry VIII and Gordon Ramsey would be the guests of honor.All of their menus had to be made from ingredients that were available during the Tudor reign and they researched each menu themselves. Popular recipes included ingredients such as peacock and swan.Miss G Spark, Teacher at Stamford, commented on what a good time the students had presenting their menus on Microsoft Teams: "We had a great time on Teams and it really brought the 'Christmas spirit’ amongst this craziness!"To read more news from the Stamford Community, please click here.why stamford banner
