Year 12 students at the Stamford Schools have enjoyed their first social of term.140 students attended the evening, where entertainment included a night of music and food. Students were welcomed to the event for free, with student bands and DJs embracing the opportunity to perform.The headline band was made up of Jamie M, Sam C, Asa M, with Henry P starting off the music for the evening. This was followed by a DJ set by Tom N.Tom played an inclusive mix of contemporary music followed with nostalgic tracks from Abba, Queen and Journey.
Mr Mills, Deputy Head (Pastoral) at Stamford School, led the event and said: “It was wonderful to see the Year 12 students dancing the night away together and seeming to confirm that things really are getting back to normal.”
