Swim England Water Polo Coach of the Year Awards
We are thrilled to announce that our Head of Water Polo, Amelia Stewart, has been recognized as the runner-up in the prestigious Swim England Water Polo Coach of the Year regional awards!
Amelia joined Stamford in 2021, bringing with her a wealth of experience and a passion for water polo. Since 2016, she has been a club regional-level water polo coach, honing her skills and developing young athletes. More recently, Amelia has expanded her coaching repertoire to the national stage, working with the England talent centre, where she continues to inspire and nurture the next generation of water polo stars.
Her commitment to excellence and her innovative coaching techniques have made a significant impact on our water polo program. Under her leadership, our teams have flourished, and her recognition by Swim England is a testament to her hard work and dedication.
This year, Amelia has set her sights on achieving success with our Year 10 boys in the English Schools competitions. Her expertise and guidance are sure to propel the team to new heights, and we are excited to see the results of her efforts.
