Stamford School's Allen Organ
On the 2nd of May this year, students, staff and members of the local community gathered in the Oswald Elliott Hall to celebrate the installation of a new Allen organ with a special concert.
The programme featured solo organ works performed by Mr David Lovell-Brown and A Level student William, who demonstrated the range and power of the new instrument. There were also performances by solo vocalists William and Harry and the Chapel Choir.
The concert was a fitting tribute to the generosity of Mr David Lovell-Brown and Mr John Craddock, whose kind donations enabled the school to acquire this great instrument which is sure to be a treasured feature of the school for many years to come.
