Stamford School Student Eva Secures Division 1 Hockey Scholarship to Sacred Heart University
Stamford School is proud to announce that Year 13 student Eva has been offered and accepted a prestigious hockey scholarship to Sacred Heart University, a renowned Division 1 institution located in Connecticut, United States. This achievement underscores Eva's dedication, talent, and hard work both on and off the field.
Director of Hockey, Duncan Buckmaster, said, “Eva has developed as a player throughout her time at Stamford. We are proud to have been a part of this development alongside her club and regional coaches. It’s a fantastic achievement to be offered a scholarship to an American college, especially a Division 1 team. Eva has worked hard this year to ensure this happened, and we wish her luck over the next 4 years in America and look forward to seeing where she takes her hockey in the future.”
