Stamford School Student Crowned U16 British Ski Cross Champion
We are incredibly proud to share the outstanding success of Stamford School Year 10 student, Henry, who has been crowned the U16 British Ski Cross Champion following a superb 1st place finish at The Brits in Mayrhofen, Austria.
Henry's achievement is the result of tremendous dedication, skill and determination, and highlights the strength of sport at Stamford School. Competing against the best young skiers in the country, Henry delivered a dominant performance to secure the top spot in his age category.
Alongside his success at The Brits, Henry also competed in the Swiss Ski Cross Tour, a prestigious international series that attracts elite U16 athletes from across Switzerland, Sweden, France, Austria and Italy.
In the final race of the tour, held in Melchsee Frutt, Switzerland, Henry achieved an impressive 2nd place, securing 4th place overall in the entire series, a remarkable result in such a competitive international field.
Henry's performances this season reflect not only his individual talent but also the commitment Stamford School has to supporting students in achieving excellence both in and beyond the classroom.
