Last night we held our first speed networking event of this academic year. Now a well-established fixture in our calendar, we run three of these events annually to showcase the wide range of pathways available beyond education.
The event brought together 11 accomplished professionals spanning new product development, food manufacturing, formulation science, dietetics, hospitality management, events and entrepreneurship. Speakers included experts working in FMCG product development, frozen and fresh food supply, ice cream and flavour formulation, clinical and freelance dietetics, hotel management, large-scale events and weddings, and culinary education. We were delighted to welcome several Old Stamfordians, parents and local businesses including Bakkavor, alongside Leiths Education, with their Director of Studies sharing insights into culinary training and career pathways.
We are extremely grateful to all our speakers for generously sharing their time, experience and advice, and to the students and families who attended and contributed so positively to the evening.
Our next speed networking event, focusing on environmental management, sustainability and earth sciences, will take place on Wednesday 4 March. Save the date
