Our U14 cricket team has been crowned county champions after a fantastic all-round performance in the final, beating King's School Grantham! Winning the toss and electing to bat first, opener Adam led the charge with an impressive 73 off 54 balls, setting a solid foundation for the team. With a final target of 129 runs, our bowlers put on a disciplined display, restricting King’s to 89/6 from their 20 overs.
Archie was the standout bowler, claiming 3 wickets in one over and finishing with figures of 3-26 from his 4 overs. Robbie made an instant impact, taking two wickets in his first two balls, ending with figures of 2-4 from just 2 overs.
A brilliant team effort both with the bat and ball ensured victory by 40 runs and secured the U14 county championship title.
