Stamford School is immensely proud of our Sixth Form student, Bruce, who has delivered a series of remarkable performances at the Paralympic swimming events in Paris.
Bruce began his Paralympic journey with a fantastic effort in the Men’s SM6 200m Individual Medley. He secured second place in his heat, earning a spot in the final, where he swam brilliantly to finish fourth among a highly competitive field.
The excitement didn’t stop there. On Sunday, Bruce competed in the Men’s SB6 100m Breaststroke, where he once again showcased his incredible talent. In the heats, he not only finished third but also achieved a new personal best, breaking his own British record. In the final, Bruce put in another outstanding performance, finishing fifth and setting a new British record yet again.
Bruce's achievements are a testament to his unwavering dedication, intense training, and passion for swimming. At just 17 years old, he has become an inspiration to the entire Stamford School community. His determination and success on the international stage highlight the incredible potential he holds for the future.
