Stamford 1st Team Netball Secure Back to Back Victories vs Oakham and Uppingham
Stamford School’s 1st Team Netball enjoyed a successful weekend of competition, recording two impressive victories across consecutive fixtures.
The team began with a strong performance on Friday evening against Oakham, delivering a composed display that saw them secure a well deserved win. Stamford showed excellent teamwork and discipline throughout the match, controlling key passages of play and converting important scoring opportunities.
Less than 24 hours later, the squad returned to the court to face Uppingham on Saturday. Despite the quick turnaround, the players maintained their intensity and focus, producing another confident performance to claim a second victory.
Across both matches, the team demonstrated strong communication, consistent defensive work and effective attacking play, allowing them to maintain momentum across a demanding weekend of fixtures.
