Remarkable Stamford Success at the Royal Society of Chemistry’s Top of the Bench Competition
Our student team demonstrated outstanding talent at the regional final of the Royal Society of Chemistry’s Top of the Bench competition, hosted at the prestigious University of Derby, finishing third place in the competition.
Led by captain Saskia, alongside teammates Rebecca, Adam, and Toby, they excelled in both the rigorous quiz and a practical challenge. For the challenge, the team had to craft the best rainbow using only red, yellow, and blue dyes with sugar and water, impressing judges and securing third place out of over 150 participating teams.
This remarkable achievement speaks volumes about our dedication, teamwork, and scientific prowess, we're immensely proud of our team's success and thank you to both Ms Cox and Miss Rozycka.
