A big congratulations to Old Stamfordian Josh Hull (OS 22) on his first call-up to the England Lions cricket team for their four-day match against Sri Lanka. This is an exceptional achievement for Josh, who continues to make impressive strides in his cricketing career.
Josh, who currently plays for Leicestershire County Cricket Club, has been a rising star in the cricketing world. His selection for the England Lions is a testament to his hard work, dedication, and outstanding performances on the field. Earlier this year, Josh also made appearances for the Manchester Originals in The Hundred, showcasing his talent on one of the biggest stages in domestic cricket.
This call-up marks a significant milestone in Josh's journey, reflecting his growth from a promising young cricketer at Stamford School to a professional athlete recognised at the national level. His success is a source of immense pride for the Stamford School community, where his cricketing journey began.
