Miss Mason Takes Home 'Player of the Match'
Head of Netball at Stamford High School, Miss Mason has taken 'player of the match' for the second time in a National League Netball match.Miss Mason usually plays either Goal Attack or Wing Attack for her Netball team, TFC Leicester. In this particular match she played Goal Attack position.Player of the match was awarded to Miss Mason for her court play and on-point shooting.Her team won the match, playing against Billericay NC in round 5 of a National League game.Miss Mason, Head of Netball at Stamford, said: "the game was a must win for us with the opposition sitting just above us in the table. It was an end-to-end contest all the way through with momentum swinging throughout the first half, however at half time we managed to maintain a narrow 2 goal lead. The second half was equally as physical and contested however, with a few crucial turnovers, we managed to increase the lead with the game finishing 50-42. It is still early in the season but we’re hoping to push for a place in the play-offs later in the year."For more Netball news, please click
