Clemmie Bealby (OS 25) Secures Business Degree Apprenticeship with MBDA

We are delighted to share that Clemmie Bealby (OS 25) has successfully secured a Business Management Degree Apprenticeship with MBDA in Stevenage, beginning in September 2026.

From an early stage, Clemmie was clear that a traditional university route was not the right pathway for her. Following results day, she worked closely with the School’s Futures team to explore alternative options and identify opportunities that aligned with her strengths, interests, and long-term ambitions. This included detailed work on CV development, preparation for psychometric testing, and structured support for assessment centres.

The process was demanding and competitive, requiring persistence and resilience. Clemmie demonstrated maturity throughout, staying focused and motivated even when responses were slow or feedback limited. Her determination and willingness to engage fully with guidance and preparation ultimately led to success in a highly sought-after programme.

MBDA is expected to play an increasingly significant role within the UK and European defence sector in the coming years, making this an exceptional opportunity within a strategically important industry. Clemmie’s achievement highlights the breadth and credibility of post-school pathways now available to students beyond the traditional university model.
