On Friday, 11th October, Stamford School hosted a memorable Choir Concert organised by the Stamford Diversity Group, featuring talented young singers from six local primary schools, including Stamford Junior School. The event celebrated music, community spirit, and charitable giving.
The evening began with an inspiring introduction from the Mayor of Stamford, Kelham Cooke, who welcomed the audience and commended the schools' efforts in uniting for a good cause. Each choir delivered heartfelt performances, creating an uplifting atmosphere that resonated with the audience.
The concert concluded with a speech from local MP Alicia Kearns, who praised the students’ hard work and highlighted the importance of the evening’s mission—to raise funds for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI). The RNLI provides crucial life-saving services, and the generosity of the attendees helped support their vital work.
A special thank you goes to The St Michael's and Exeter Schools' Charity for their invaluable support in making the event possible. The sense of collaboration was palpable, as local schools and families came together for a meaningful cause.
