Wednesday 4 November saw the 188th gathering of OS for the annual OS London Dinner at The RAF Club.
The evening brought together generations of OS from across the world, once again demonstrating the enduring strength of the Stamford community.
In his address, Head Chris Seal provided an update on life at Stamford and reflected on his first year in post. He spoke of the warmth and generosity of the Stamford community and extended his thanks for the hospitality and support the OS community have shown him as he enters his second year at the helm of the School.
A highlight of the evening was the traditional and spirited game of Heads and Tails. The £5 entry fee helps cover the insurance of the Loving Cup, a treasured piece of the Club's history that was gifted to the London Old Stamfordian Club in 1933.
The London Dinner remains one of the oldest and most enduring traditions in the Old Stamfordian calendar, providing an opportunity for OS to come together and celebrate their shared connection to Stamford School and Stamford High School.
Thank you to everyone who attended and and a huge thank you to the OS London Committee for hosting another truly memorable evening. We look forward to welcoming Old Stamfordians back to the RAF Club next year as the dinner celebrates its centenary year.
