This week at Stamford Junior School, our Preschool and Reception children lit up the stage with their Christmas nativity, with plenty of laughter, confident singing and speaking, and genuine joy from children who are still so young.
With a range of costumes and characters on display, the nativity was loved by parents, grandparents and other family members at their two performances, with the children also performing to the whole of Stamford Junior School.
It’s a rare thing for Preschool or Reception children to perform on a stage in front of such a large audience, and they rose to it beautifully, with confidence, bravery and smiles.
A huge well done to them and to our staff who guided them throughout. There was significant work done behind the scenes prior to the production, with videos of the children talking being used, and our Head Boy and Head Girl speaking at the start of the production.
