Stamford School and Stamford Junior School are delighted to announce that, following a recent inspection by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI), both schools have met all five regulatory standards, demonstrating the highest levels of compliance, care, and educational provision.
The inspection, conducted under the ISI’s Regulatory Compliance Inspection, assessed key areas including: Quality of Education, Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural Development of Pupils, Welfare, Health and Safety of Pupils, Suitability of Staff and Premises and Leadership and Management. Inspectors commended Stamford Junior School for its “…inclusive environment where pupils are known as individuals, supported to thrive and encouraged to take pride in their learning. Leaders effectively promote a sense of community and belonging, which underpins the school’s nurturing ethos and contributes positively to pupils’ wellbeing. Pupils develop secure knowledge and skills across subjects…and as a result, pupils make good progress and engage positively with their learning.”
The report commended the Stamford School: “…Pupils are offered a broad curriculum which prepares them for a wider range of opportunities in their next steps in education or employment. Leadership sets high expectations for inclusive education that supports the progress of all pupils…They are successful in their creation and development of the school’s culture since the merger of Stamford School and Stamford High School. Leaders set clear expectations for pupils and actively promote good behaviour – as a result, there is a calm and purposeful atmosphere in the school.”
