Senior School (Year 7 – Year 11):

Sixth Form Admissions

The Admissions process for Sixth Form, or ‘16+ entry’ as it is sometimes known, starts in Year 11.

Before you contact us, you should have an idea of what subjects you want to study, along with your personal interests and ambitions.

Places still available for September 2024 entry.

To register your interest please contact our Registrar.

Sixth Form Admissions Process

Step 1.

Make contact with our Registrar

Step 2.

Registration - we strongly recommended you register at least one year prior to entry.

You are warmly invited to attend one of our autumn Open Evenings, or book a personal tour at a time that suits you. This gives you the opportunity to tour our campus and facilities, meet our Head of Sixth Form, and to find out more about the subjects you are interested in studying. We will also ensure you tour with current students, so you can ask them practical questions whilst touring our site.

Step 3.

Application - If you then decide to apply, please complete our application form and return it along with the £100 fee.

We will ask you for your predicted GCSE grades, latest school reports and preferred subject choices. We will also request a reference from your current school.

All Sixth Form offers are conditional, depending on satisfactory performance at GCSE.

If you require bursary assistance, you must make an application at the same time as applying for a place in Sixth Form. Click here for more details.

International and Forces Families
Students from overseas and those in Forces families follow a slightly different application process.
