Alice Lucy has confirmed her place at Loughborough University, where she will be studying BA geography, with a placement year. She shared her excellent results with us; A grades in both textiles technology and geography A Levels and D2 in BTEC sport. She said "It was a huge relief to get the results I needed after a lengthy period of uncertainty, especially as changes to the grading system have been made very recently."Although the reality hasn't quite settled in yet I'm really looking forward to starting my studies and am especially keen to learn more about Social Anthropology!"
Abbie Walster leaves the Sixth Form to enter the workplace in September, having secured a job as a Teaching Assistant at Witham Hall School. Abbie says she ‘feels like she is going home’ with this employment opportunity, as she began at Witham Hall herself in the Nursery, aged just 3 years old. Having studied history and textiles A Levels, Abbie’s ultimate goal is to train as a teacher and return to the Stamford Endowed Schools in the Textiles Department, so she’s told us to ‘watch this space!’

Lloyd Durno is headed to Leeds Beckett University to study Business Management in Sport following his time in the Sixth Form, where he has studied A Levels in business studies and geography, alongside a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Sport.

Throughout the Sixth Form she has studied A Levels in biology, physics and drama, whilst learning mathematics through self study. We wish her the best of luck in starting her course in October.

He has confirmed his place at the University of Bath to begin in the next academic year, studying economics and maths. In future he aspires to work in finance and is keen to continue to visit and contribute to the Stamford community.
