Book for our Discovery Mornings

Discovery Mornings are a chance to explore the Schools on a normal working day.

You and your family will tour the School in the company of one of our pupils and will meet the Principal and senior team over tea and coffee.

Junior School (Reception – Year 6):
Wednesday 15 May 8.45am – 10am

Senior School (Year 7 – Year 11):
Wednesday 15 May 10am – 11.30am

Spaces at a Discovery Morning are limited so that you can have as much time as you need to see the School at your own pace and discuss your child as an individual.

Volunteering

On average our Civilian Instructors attend 30 Friday afternoon CCF sessions per year and those that volunteer with our DofE scheme gave 174 days of time supporting expeditions and training last year. The volunteers in the sports department help out a variety of disciplines – netball, rugby, football and hockey, just to name a few. Eight clubs a week are supported by volunteers, and at least two matches every Saturday are refereed/umpired by volunteers. It really is representative of the Stamford ethos that our pool of volunteers come from around the local community and is a great example of the Stamfordian Spirit that we encourage, while contributing to the the success of these activites.

"I volunteer because I have a passion for being a part of making sure every child gets the education that they deserve."
