Discovery Mornings are a chance to explore the School on a normal working day.

You and your family will tour the School in the company of one of our pupils and will meet the senior team over tea and coffee.

Wednesday 15 May 8.45am – 10am

Spaces at a Discovery Morning are limited so that you can have as much time as you need to see the School at your own pace and discuss your child as an individual.

    Dance at Stamford

    The teaching of Dance at the Stamford Schools is delivered jointly by teams from our Sports Department and The Welland School of Dance.

    Welland School of Dance

    Key Stage 3

    In line with the national curriculum, our KS3 students cover dance within their P.E. curriculum which is taught by the Stamford P.E. teaching team.

    Key Stages 4 - 5

    Dance is offered as an option for students at KS4 and KS5, which again is taught by dance teachers from our local dance school, The Welland School of Dancing.

    Co-curricular Dance provision and opportunities are delivered by both the Drama and Sports departments at the Stamford Schools working closely together.

    Opportunities Beyond The Classroom

    Our Drama Department offers a number of opportunities outside of the classroom for students looking to expand their love of Dance. 

    • Annual Showcase of Dance for students in KS3 - 5
    • Dance and movement are part of our annual Drama productions
