Senior School (Year 7 – Year 11):

Working at Stamford

Stamford is a historic market town of outstanding architectural beauty and provides a very attractive place in which to live and work.

Living and Working in Stamford

The School occupies three sites close to the centre of Stamford.

Widely recognised as one of England’s finest stone towns, Stamford is a very desirable place in which to live. Situated in South Lincolnshire, Stamford is a delightful small town with a thriving community. A town rich in culture and amenities, Stamford has a huge amount to offer its residents, including a wide array of shops, cafes and restaurants. There are plenty of recreational opportunities to keep you entertained, with two theatres, sports and leisure facilities and many societies and clubs.

The School has been established in Stamford since 1532, undergoing many changes but consistently providing a first-class education for their children.

Stamford is privileged to be surrounded by beautiful countryside and quintessentially English villages, offering scenic country walks and places to enjoy outdoor pursuits, such as nearby Rutland Water. Among other local historical sites, Stamford shares a border with the magnificent Burghley House Estate, which hosts the annual Burghley Horse Trials; one of the most prestigious national equestrian events.

The School is a part of the great heritage of Stamford and a symbol of its vibrancy and evolution.
