Japanese Day
Our Junior School pupils celebrated all things Japanese with a fun-packed themed day which every year group enjoyed. The children loved the traditional songs sung in assembly to start the day, followed by a presentation from our Year 12 international students who are from Tokyo. There was also a karate demonstration and lessons in traditional Japanese festivals such as Shichi-Go-San, Otsukimi and Tanabata. Pupils enjoyed a tasty, themed lunch of different Japanese food and various craft activities, including lantern making, t-shirt painting and kite making. The day was filled with good vibes, music, and fun activities while learning about Japanese culture.
