Discovery Mornings are a chance to explore the School on a normal working day.

You and your family will tour the School in the company of one of our pupils and will meet the senior team over tea and coffee.

Wednesday 15 May 8.45am – 10am

Spaces at a Discovery Morning are limited so that you can have as much time as you need to see the School at your own pace and discuss your child as an individual.

    Year 10 and Year 12 at SHS Visit a Sculpture Park

    Year 10 and Year 12 artists at Stamford High School visited the Yorkshire Sculpture Park in Wakefield.The Park is home to artworks from some of the most renowned British artists including Barbara Hepworth, Damien Hirst and Henry Moore.Miss H Kenworthy, Head of Art at Stamford High School, said: "The day was a fantastic opportunity for the students to gain invaluable inspiration and increase their awareness of artists intentions."They experienced the artwork of artists including Rachel Kneebone and Joana Vasconcelos."After working with a professional artist, the students also got to sculpt some pieces of their own."Students take a trip to the Yorkshire Sculpture ParkStudents take a trip to the Yorkshire Sculpture ParkStudents take a trip to the Yorkshire Sculpture ParkFor more news from Art at Stamford, please click here.Banner 2021 - the Arts
