Y11 'dive in' to Geography at the River Qwash

Year 11 students from the Stamford Schools have enjoyed a day exploring the River Qwash,  gaining valuable experience to be able to answer questions in their GCSE exam.Students put into practice the theory they had been learning in class. They were testing the 'Bradshaw hypothesis', which is an ideal model of river characteristics across its course.Mr Ramsey, Head of geography, said: "It has been a fantastic day collecting fieldwork on the River Gwash". For more news from the Geography Department, please click here.Banner 2021 - Stamford School
