Tree Planted in Commemoration of Waseda School Friendship
The Stamford Schools have recently planted a #SakuraProject tree in commemoration of the ongoing friendship with Waseda High School, Tokyo.The 'Sakura Project' is a celebration of friendship between UK and Japanese relations, using a Sakura Cherry Tree as a symbol. here.A rugby tour in 2017 to Japan established Stamford's connection with Waseda. Since then, Waseda's rugby tour have been to visit us and we have started a flourishing student programme.
