We are thrilled to be relaunching ‘The Stamford Card’ ready for the Christmas shopping season in Stamford. The Stamford Card is run by the Schools and enables cardholders to receive an array of benefits and special offers, in return for a monthly subscription payment of £10.00. Over 140 shops, hotels, restaurants, services and attractions in and around the Stamford area are partners, offering benefits and offers to shoppers whilst they support the local high street.
So how does it work? Cardholders pay a monthly subscription fee, 100% of which goes to providing bursary assistance to local children to attend the Schools on means tested bursary assistance. These children, from within the Stamford community, would otherwise be unable to benefit from an education with the Schools. For partners of the scheme, which include local shops, estate agents, businesses, restaurants and attractions they get access to hundreds of local shoppers and members who want to shop locally. Cardholders can take advantage of many benefits from 10% off haircuts to free cocktails with your meal when presenting a Stamford Card. There are over 140 offers and benefits available, all listed here.
Natalie Pretsell, Head of Engagement and Fundraising at Stamford Schools, comments: “We are delighted to be relaunching the Stamford Card ready for the festive season. We have a host of new partners offering benefits and offers to cardholders, as well as a new look card for shoppers to enjoy using in and around Stamford. As always, we continue to work with the #ShopStamford initiative and are excited that this will be ready for local shoppers to enjoy this year. Having originally launched the scheme prior to the Covid-19 pandemic, we now have over 140 different offers available with the card and hope new and existing cardholders will take advantage of the benefits, contributing to our local high street economy as well as supporting student bursaries with every purchase made.”
