    Students score 2nd at 'Top of the Bench' competition

    A group of dedicated students have scored a joint 2nd place in the East Midlands Heat of the annual ‘Top of the Bench’ chemistry competition earlier this month, held at the University of Derby.Around 15 schools participated, and the competition involved two Year 9’s competing alongside a Year 10 and Year 11 student to complete a written test and two-part practical challenge quiz. Our students qualified for the competition through their excellent performances in a written test, previously completed at school.Stamford team at Top of the Bench competition
