Stamford students embark on sporting tour of Scotland
The half term break saw 120 Stamford Endowed Schools Students travel to Scotland on a sporting tour, whereby Year 6 Rugby and Year 8 Hockey teams embarked upon a multitude of fixtures and cultural visits within the cities of Glasgow and Edinburgh.Alongside visits to the High School of Glasgow, Stewart's Melville College and George Watson's College for sporting matches, pupils visited Stirling Castle and the Wallace Monument. A trip to watch the Glasgow Warriors, a spooky ghost tour and some highly competitive rounds of ten-pin bowling rounded off their action packed tour.Pupils Noah and Thomas attended the tour, and have written a blog post of their experiences which can be found here.
