On Saturday, Stamford School had the privilege of hosting the East Midlands Schools Floor and Vault Championships, where we proudly entered four teams: two U11 Girls teams, one U19 Girls team, and one U19 Boys team.
In a fiercely competitive field, the U19 Girls team finished an impressive 4th place, narrowly missing out on the bronze medal. Meanwhile, the U11 Girls B team secured an excellent 3rd place. The U11 Girls A team and the U19 Boys team both emerged as champions in their categories, being crowned regional winners. These outstanding teams will now progress to the National Finals in May, where they will represent the East Midlands Region.
It was a fantastic day of competition, showcasing the exceptional talent and sportsmanship of our students. We are incredibly proud of all our gymnasts and look forward to seeing them excel on the national stage!
