Yesterday evening, some of Stamford School's Year 7 & 8 academic scholars had the opportunity to meet Terry Deary, the author of the Horrible Histories series. As part of the Oundle Literature Festival, Terry spoke about his career in writing, his new book (A History of Britain in 10 Enemies) and told lots of brilliant jokes!
Our students asked questions during the Q&A session and Terry signed some school copies of Horrible Histories books, while chatting to our students about the importance of understanding history from both sides of every conflict.
