Stamford School Alumnus Josh Hull Earns First England Test Squad Call-Up

Stamford School is proud to announce that Old Stamfordian Josh Hull (OS 22) has received his first call-up to the England Men’s Test squad. Hull, who plays for Leicestershire County Cricket Club and has featured for Manchester Originals in The Hundred, will join the squad for the final two Tests against Sri Lanka, replacing Mark Wood.

Hull’s cricketing journey began at Stamford School, where he developed his skills and passion for the game. His impressive performances at Leicestershire and in The Hundred have now earned him this well-deserved recognition on the international stage.

Stamford School’s strong tradition of nurturing sports talent continues to shine, with Josh Hull’s first England call-up serving as a source of inspiration for current and future students.
