Stamford Schools is delighted to share its latest school review, its first since moving to co-ed in September 2023, from the highly regarded Muddy Stilettos Best Schools Guide.
The Muddy Stilettos guide is a unique, independent and honest review of the best schools in the UK. They say: “Our ‘insider’ guides give a genuine insight into each school we visit, with informal, super-useful advice from our editors – parents, just like you.” Best Schools Guide | Muddy Stilettos
Muddy Stilettos is one of the UK's leading digital lifestyle platforms covering 28 counties across the UK. Muddy is the cosmopolitan woman’s’ ‘urban guide to the countryside’ – a witty, super-useful insider’s guide to the very best food, walks, boutiques, day trips, hotels, interiors and events for smart, fun-loving women living outside London.
Northants Editor, Emma Galvin, visited the Schools last November, meeting with Mr Phelan and having an extensive tour of both the St Paul’s and St Martin’s sites as well as the town. Emma will be back later in the spring to visit SJS as there simply wasn’t time to see everything the schools have to offer in one day!
Emma’s ‘word on the ground’ summary says: “Stamford engenders a real creative and expansive thinking in its pupils and enabling a breadth of self-belief that is palpable, so whether your children dream of being pilots or professional cricketers or treading the boards in the West End (Old Stamfordian Declan Spaine is currently playing the lead in Hamilton), they will be encouraged to find their feet here.”
