Stamford Gymnastics Teams Compete In ISGA

Three teams from Stamford, across multiple year groups, have competed at the ISGA (Independent Schools Gymnastics Association) competition.The ISGA National 5 Piece Premier Championships were held at Haberdashers Boys School in Elstree. Teams from Stamford competed in the Under 10s, Under 13s and Under 19s competitions.The Under 10 teamStudents in our Under 10 team started their day performing new floor routines, showcasing some of their newly learned skills, with their vaulting proving a particular highlight and receiving praise from the vault judge.As their first time working together to learn a particularly hard group routine, the Schools and students are very proud of their performance. The judges praised their consistent teamwork, presenting them with the 'Team Spirit' award.The Under 13 teamThe Under 13 team were very proud of their routines, especially their group routine which narrowly missed a medal. They were very supportive of each other throughout their competition and this was recognised by the judges who awarded them the Team Spirit Cup.The Under 19 team The Under 19 team rounded everything off with some exceptionally strong performances to a very high standard, in a close competition.
