Return visit for 2017 Japan rugby tour
Stamford School rugby teams welcomed Waseda School from Tokyo to Stamford after last playing them during their 2017 Japan Rugby Tour. They played two fantastic games against the visitors from Japan and wished them well for the rest of their tour.Director of Sport at the Stamford Endowed Schools, Mark Nasey, commented: ‘This experience is exactly what sport is all about; after 2 years, and with 6000 miles between them the students greeted each other with smiles, handshakes, and hugs. Looking forward to our next rematch in 2021!’
