The District Round welcomed four teams to debate, with only the winning team (Stamford High School) getting through to the final, which will be held in April.Team Coach, Mrs V Wilson, said: "I am immensely proud of the team and their achievements. We actually got through to the Regional Final in 2020 also, but that was cancelled because of Covid, so we are delighted to be given the chance again."Lottie, Year 12, said: "Taking part in the Rotary Youth Speaks competition was such a wonderful opportunity for us to explore and debate the causes of social media’s harm to the user. It was a topic I am very passionate about and being given the experience of speaking in public at a different venue in front of an audience was truly exciting."For more news from Stamford High School, please click
