First Team come 4th at Perse Netball Tournament
Students from Stamford High School have achieved fourth position in a competitive pre-regional netball tournament.The SHS first team netballers travelled to the Perse School to take part in the tournament, which was described as a fantastic opportunity and practise for working out set plays and combinations for students' upcoming regionals tournament.Team captain, Isla N, Year 13, said: "The girls had a brilliant performance, winning all pool matches bar one showing stamina, hard work and skill. We were then faced with the 3rd and 4th play off match where unfortunately some turnovers where made by the opposition, leading us to grab 4th place out of 17 teams.
