Extended Project Challenge winners announced
The finalists and winner of the Year 7 Extended Project Challenge have been announced at Stamford High School.Four finalists presented to a panel of guest judges on a variety of topics from 'People who have changed the world' to 'If I ruled the world' and 'Where does inspiration come from?'The winner was announced as Rose M, with her creative piece of art and research book that questioned where inspiration comes from; whether it's from the brain, imagination or experiences. The finalists were announced as Clementine C, Nancy H, LJ and Rose M.Mrs Ditchburn, Head of Year 7, said: "The Transition from Year 6 to Year 7 is such an important one. At Stamford High School we encourage our students to work and think independently. The Extended Project Challenge pushes their boundaries and enables our students to work on a project of their choice."The range of work produced never ceases to amaze and delight.
