Discovery Mornings are a chance to explore the School on a normal working day.

You and your family will tour the School in the company of one of our pupils and will meet the senior team over tea and coffee.

Spaces at a Discovery Morning are limited so that you can have as much time as you need to see the School at your own pace and discuss your child as an individual.

    Chinese club starts at SJS

    Children at Stamford Junior School have begun learning about Chinese language and culture at Chinese club.In the club children have listened to “ The Grace Race “ - a Chinese Zodiac animal story, and have celebrated Chinese New Year of the Tiger.  They have played games including a Chinese red envelope guessing game and 'Rock, Paper, Scissors' using Feet, not hands! The children have started to use one hand to learn to count numbers from 1 to 10 and how to sound them out in Chinese, too.Lead Staff, Ms Pang-Morris said "The children are so excited that we have begun to write the numbers in Chinese. I'm so pleased that the children can now sound out most of the animals in Chinese, as well!"We look forward to hearing more from the club!Banner 2021 - Co-corricular
