Celebrating the Harvest Festival
Pupils in Year 2 at Stamford Junior School have celebrated the Harvest Festival with their families.The Harvest Festival service took place at SES Chapel, where the children shared and indulged their audience in some well-rehearsed songs and poems. Friends and family of Year 2 students came along to support the them in the Harvest Service.Mr Adventure (Mr E Smith, Director of Outdoor Education) donated his home grown pumpkin, named Russell, to the Harvest Festival display, delighting visitors due to his enormous size!These celebrations are in addition to the Stamford Schools' annual collection for the Stamford Foodbank, which occurs at this time of year, each year.For more news from the Stamford Junior School, please click
