CCF Long Service Awards
Last Friday afternoon, the Principal awarded medals to four members of our CCF to recognise their long-lasting commitment and hours dedicated.
Lt Felicity McClarty received the Cadet Forces Medal. This is awarded to a cadet force adult volunteer who has volunteered for 12 years. It recognises the commitment the adult has made in supporting cadet activities over this significant length of time.
Captain Nick Davies, Captain Mike Holdsworth and Flight Lieutenant Amy Heaton were all presented with the Queens Platinum Jubilee Medal. The medal was awarded to all members of the armed forces and cadet forces. Recipients must have served a minimum of 5 years to qualify for the medal.
All the medals are worn during parades and activities that require Service Dress (best uniform) to be worn.
