Book for our Discovery Morning
Discovery Mornings are a chance to explore the School on a normal working day.
You and your family will tour the School in the company of one of our pupils and will meet the senior team over tea and coffee.
Junior School (Reception – Year 6):
Wednesday 15 May 8.45am – 10am
Spaces at a Discovery Morning are limited so that you can have as much time as you need to see the School at your own pace and discuss your child as an individual.
Friday 18th November 2022
On 15 November, a wide range of current professionals from the medicine field congregated at Stamford Schools, as part of our ‘Beyond Stamford’ careers events series. Ten speakers talked to our students about working in practice and in research, covering topics such as roles involved, and how to maximise their chances in such a competitive field. Over 70 students and parents got a taste for work in the medical career field, hearing from online and in person speakers in 5 breakout rooms, before ending the evening with refreshments and networking in the Oswald Elliott Hall. Students and parents commented that the evening gave them a ‘very honest assessment, warts and all’ of what it was like to work in the different fields, and what it took to get there.
We would like to thank our alumni for giving back to the school so generously with their time and inspiring the next Stamford cohort.
The ‘Beyond Stamford’ programme aims to introduce students to a range of career options, with the hope that early exposure to many different paths will help them find a career where they will flourish.
