An action packed half term for St Martins House
The girls from St Martins Boarding House have had an action packed half term, enjoying weekly activities together. Please enjoy their photo gallery below to see what they've been up to.Activities have included paddle boarding, a trip to the escape rooms and ten pin bowling, scrap booking, a movie night, an orange juice making competition, a games afternoon, ice creams and cycling at Rutland Water, pizza making, and bouncing on a bouncy castle put up in St Martins garden, among other things!
"Paddleboarding was lots of fun. We fell in on purpose, and it was cold!"
Girls enjoyed a movie night watching Dora the Explorer and Mr Bean's Holiday, with one student commenting: "I really like the movie nights. We laugh a lot all together and got to be goofy at the end of Dora, putting our duvets over our heads and doing the conga!"
For some Halloween fun, pupils have also trick or treated inside the boarding house, made pumpkin spiced cookies and carved pumpkins!
